1976 Bmw R90s for sale in Toledo, Ohio

$3,299

Good initial condition; matching numbers; runs outstanding; all paint initial except fairing. Has wear and scratches but not dinged up. Seat pan is rough but cover and cowl are fine. Tach squeals when cold.Serial number puts it near the end of manufacturing' I owned this bike in the 90's for numerous years and took it on long trips out west a number of times. I offered it to a buddy who rode it for numerous years and then put it in storage when he moved out of state for a job. It then sat for about 12 years and he unfortunately died late this spring.I bought it from his family and it needed rather a lot of work. I replaced the ignition switch (key lost), put in brand-new points, plugs, air filter, battery and starter relay. I disposed and washed out the old gas, rebuilt one of the petcocks, cleaned the carburetors, changed their o rings and fuel lines, timed it, set the valves, and altered all fluids. I had to restore one front caliper, put in brand-new front pads and replace and bleed brand-new fluid. I likewise replaced a fork seal and drained and filled up the forks. I changed the front wheel (dented) and put in new bearings and set preload. In addition to the owners manual, side covers, bent rear signal bar and lights and the tatty initial design mirrors that had it, I have 2 extra wheels, one dented but with an excellent tire, the other with an outstanding rim, and an alloy triple clamp. The bike has Koni rear shocks, black Mac exhaust, bar end mirrors, and brief cafe-style back signals. It is missing out on the device kit and the tank bag in some pictures doesn't had it. The bike now starts quickly, pulls strong, and I've put about 1000 miles on it since returning it to the roadway a couple of months earlier. You could ride it, cafe it, or restore it.
